BUZZ Bus Service

The Palm Springs BUZZ provides free rides on the BUZZ Bus every 20 minutes from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays. This bus makes stops by several popular points of interest in Palm Springs. 

BUZZ service aligns with SunLine’s fixed route service – providing valley-wide transportation options for both visitors and residents.

Q. When does the BUZZ Bus run?

A. Buzz Bus services Palm Springs Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Q. When did SunLine take operations of BUZZ?

A. SunLine Transit Agency took over operations of the PS BUZZ in January 2019. 

Q. How much does it cost to ride BUZZ?

A. BUZZ is free to ride!

Q. Do the BUZZ driver’s require gratuity? 

A. SunLine’s company policy does not allow drivers to accept any form of gratuity. PS BUZZ is completely complimentary and no gratuity will be accepted.  

Q. How is BUZZ free?

A. The BUZZ service is funded by the City of Palm Springs, and operated by SunLine Transit Agency. As the region’s transit provider, SunLine can provide a number of efficiencies with its transit expertise and resources. In turn, the service will increase ridership for SunLine – making this a prudent partnership between these two public agencies, and ultimately, to the benefit of prospective riders.

Q. I want to use BUZZ and transfer to your fixed route service will that be free?
