Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes and evaluates the work of assigned staff; participates in developing and imple­menting plans, processes, procedures and policies.

  • Provides leadership and works with staff to develop and maintain a high-performance, customer service-oriented work environment

  • Acts as Agency liaison with riders, respond­ing to customer requests for reservations, information and resolution of problems; researches complaints and proposes response and resolution; monitors call center performance and interactions with customers

  • Prepares a variety of analyses and reports

  • Meets with bus and paratransit drivers to discuss customer service issues; collects passenger usage and other data and prepares statistical reports

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:  High School Diploma

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years customer service with at least 2 years in a lead capacity preferred.

  • California Class C driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Agency’s insurance policy

  • Clear communication skills both verbal and written

  • Prepare clear, accurate and concise reports

  • Able to set priorities and exercise sound independent decisions within areas of responsibility
