RE:     Invitation for Bids 20-052 Floor Resurfacing

SunLine Transit Agency is receiving sealed bids until the Bid Deadline established below, to provide Floor Resurfacing under a public works agreement, as described in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) # 20-052. Written bids are requested which will be firm and irrevocable for a minimum of 120 days, or until such time as SunLine has signed an agreement with the successful Bidder. The bid of the successful Bidder will be binding upon SunLine’s acceptance of that bid. The bid should include all prices and information needed to understand and evaluate the bid, as well as any exception from SunLine specifications. Copies of SunLine’s specifications for this work and standard terms & conditions are included with the IFB and will become part of any public works agreement resulting from the solicitation.

A California State Contractors License with the following Classification: C-15, C-61/D-15, C61/D12 is accepted to bid this project.

An (optional) Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on August 11, 2020 at 10:00am at SunLine Transit Agency 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail, Thousand Palms, CA 92276.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time, September 17, 2020 at SunLine Transit Agency, 32-505 Harry Oliver Trail, Thousand Palms, CA 92276, and shall be labeled “20-052 Floor Resurfacing”. A public opening of received bids will be held immediately following the Bid Deadline listed above. Bids received after that time will not be considered.

The agreement to be entered into pursuant to this IFB may be subject to a financial assistance contract between SunLine and the United States Department of Transportation. If this project is subject to Federal, State, or local financial assistance, and for any reason the financial assistance is withdrawn, then and in such event SunLine may withdraw this IFB and/or terminate any agreement entered into in accordance with this IFB.
